Mistral | Original Artwork
Mistral | Original Artwork
Description
The mistral is a strong, cold, and dry wind that blows through southern France, especially the Rhône Valley, and out into the Mediterranean. The mistral is known for its clarity—when it blows, it drives away clouds and humidity, leaving behind bright, crisp skies. While sometimes harsh, it has long been considered both destructive and cleansing, shaping the landscapes, agriculture, and even the culture of the regions it touches.
This series is inspired by growth and renewal through abstract botanicals. Each piece captures a fleeting moment of transformation, a small sense of movement and light. They offer a simple meditation on the resilience and beauty of the natural world.
