The art angels blessed me with the art studio of my dreams. It’s a shared space in Portland’s Kerns neighborhood, a rare gem and totally private. When this opportunity came up I knew that the time is now to do the scary deep dive and just go for it. My first week in there felt like a daydream. The previous tenant kindly left me some furniture pieces, and my friends donated the sofa and coffee table, so it’s not just a space to create in but also a cool spot to hang out. I’m planning to do some art workshops in there in the coming months. Next week I’m throwing a get-together with my closest friends to celebrate this exciting new chapter.
